Subject: AAGVP Round Three - **UPDATE** We moved to Thursday, November 7
We moved the meeting (AAGVP Round Three - **UPDATE**) to Thursday, November 7.
Sorry folks, I didn't consider that October 31 is Beggars Night for all the areas we are targeting for participation. Our AAGVP work is vital, but the traditions of our group members are also important. Many people enjoy taking their children door-to-door to receive candy, and others enjoy passing it out. I'm dedicated, not foolish, so I will not compete with family traditions.
NEW DATE: Thursday, November 7, 2019
WHERE: Central State Dayton, 840 Germantown St., Dayton, Ohio 45402
*Refreshments and Music @ 5:30 p.m.
*Work sessions begin @ 6:00 p.m.
Step One: During the November 7 work session, we will take the ten work areas (**see at bottom) established as a result of our September 25 and October 3rd work sessions and combine or reduce our number of work areas to five (5) or six (6).
Step Two: Once we have reduced the number of work areas, we will move to breakout group areas accordingly. Each group will create a brief work description for their specific area. Each description should provide enough information to help prospective community volunteers decide which group they would like to join and take action.
Step Three: The full group will reconvene to present draft work area descriptions and receive feedback. We will identify the first phase work area leads and determine who will be responsible for other tasks. Sharing various tasks across several volunteers will allow The After Action Gun Violence Project to move forward quickly. It will also reduce our vulnerability to any individual schedule conflicts or competing responsibilities, which may cause our efforts to stall. Life happens, but we must keep moving. Enough is enough.

Could we ask for your help advertising this clothing give away event for tornado victims on your site, please? I have attached the flyer with the important details. We would really like your help getting the word out to those who have suffered loss from the tornados. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Subject: Nov. Literary Circle
As always the Oct. circle was full of meaningful dialogue and it let me see that Tupac Shakur was more than just a rapper, which is why we still discuss him 23 yrs. after his untimely death.
On Nov. 10 our topic wil be "Thank you for your service". We keep the topics broad to allow for your own creativity. So Join us from 2-4 pm at the historic Paul Laurence Dunbar house.
