Caddy’s Tap House Hosts Carnival for United Way

Caddy’s Tap House will host a family-friendly carnival to raise funds for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area on August 8th, from 12PM-6PM. The event will feature a silent auction with giveaways including Yuengling golf bags, Budweiser Nascar jackets, a Budweiser charcoal grill, UD Flyers tickets, concert tickets, and much more. Caddy’s will provide hotdogs and hamburgers, clowns, corn hole, and a bouncy house. Caddy’s is located at 2760 Towne Drive in the Shoppes at Beavercreek.

Cadillac Jacks in Beavercreek renamed itself Caddy’s Tap House and has transformed itself into a brand new restaurant with approximately $250,000 in renovations including enclosing the patio, adding dining space, and adding a whole new menu. They now offer 47 craft beers on tap. 18 to 20 beers are from Ohio breweries and 8 are from breweries in the Dayton Area. Caddy’s believes in supporting its local community!

The state will suspend its 5.75% sales tax on August 7, 8, and 9 to help parents and teachers save money while back-to-school shopping. During the sales tax holiday, the following will be exempt from sales and use tax: an item of clothing priced at $75 or less; an item of school instructional material priced at $20 or less; and an item of school supplies priced at $20 or less. There is no limit on how many items consumers can buy, and mail, telephone and online purchases qualify, even if delivery is made after August 9.
