The Greater Miami Valley Computer Science and Math Circles continue offering their enrichment classes. For Spring semesters, we plan to open Math classes this Saturday, January 13th, while Computer Science class next Saturday, January 20th.
I however would like to inform you our contingency plan of cancelling this Saturday's class if weather turns out to be too bad. In this case, if you are not sure, please email me before 8:00 am this Saturday and I will get back to you ASAP.
Either you are an old student or a new comer, you should fill out and bring your Circle membership registration form (attached) with a check for the membership fee (either $40 or $30) If you are a continuing students from last Fall, you may bring only Membership fees.
Best, Munsup
P.S. BTW, the annual Ohio Mathematics Contest (OMC) will be held on the first Saturday in April, i.e., April 7, 2018. Please mark the day on your calendar. As soon as the KSEA national website is ready for you to register, I will email you much more details about this year's Contest that will be held at Sinclair Community College in downtown Dayton (instead of at Wright State University). The online registration site is expected to be ready by February 1, 2018.

Subject: (Jan. 18) Invitation to Women's Interfaith Discussion
With all the optimism of a bright New Year, we are delighted to gather again in the spirit of community and understanding. This time we invite you to the Salvation Army/Kroc Center, 1000 Keowee St., 45404 on Thursday, January 18th, from 11 am-1pm.
This time we will look at Our Holy Books as a springboard for a little more learning about each others' practices, and hopefully open a meaningful dialogue. The Torah, the New Testament, and the Quran have endured through wars, various interpretations, and history- but always offer pathways to compassionate human connection with others.
You're welcome to start arriving by 10:30 to settle in and catch up, get name tags, etc., so we can start the program at 11. If you are generously bringing a dish to share for the refreshment table, please be mindful of our various dietary guidelines so we all can enjoy. We've discovered that a vegetarian table works best for everyone.
We are excited and looking forward to next Thursday, and we hope you are too. A flyer is attached for your information or to circulate; please bring new friends you think would enjoy, as well as old ones. As we are close to the date, don't forget to RSVP, and let us know if you will be bringing a dish so we can plan.

Women's March to be Held in Dayton and Nationwide
Dayton, Ohio —On January 20, 2018, Dayton will unite with other cities throughout the U.S.to hold a Women's March to reaffirm our commitment to building a positive and just future for all, and to celebrate the spirit of resistance efforts over the past year that began with the historic Women's March in January 2017. Over five million participated in Women's Marches around the world last January, including four million in the United States and 3,000 in Dayton.
A mass mobilization will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 21, with over 250 other rallies, marches and events taking place during the "Week-End of Women" on January 20 and 21. These events will kick off a year long initiative called "Power to the Polls." The goal is to register one million new voters and to elect women candidates and those who support women's rights and justice for all.
The 2018 Dayton Women's March will be held Saturday, January 20 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Courthouse Square The local rally is being organized once again by Dayton Women's Rights Alliance, along with Dayton Indivisible for All and others.
