PARTNERED WITH THE ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY, INC. (Tau Lambda Omega Chapter, Inc.)
(DAYTON, OHIO), November 4, 2016 – On Election Day, voters in one Ohio area will have the privilege of not only voting, but enjoying FREE pizza and FREE bottled water thanks to retired NFL football player Keith Byars. Byars, along with local sorority group AKA's (Tau Lambda Omega Chapter) will pass out pizza and bottled water to all those who show up and vote on Election Day at local Trotwood Precinct, Mother Brunner Catholic School (Formerly Precious Blood School) 4870 Denlinger Road from 4pm-6pm.
Byars, known for giving back to his community, played professional football between 1986 and 1998 for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Miami Dophins, the New England Patriots, and New York Jets. Before playing professionally, Byars played for The Ohio State University including their championship in the Big Ten under Head Coach Earle Bruce.
When asked why is it important to encourage voters on election day, Byars stated " As we move forward with the mission of informing and enfranchising the citizens of Montgomery County, and beyond, we are making it our duty to encourage the citizens of Trotwood to get-out-to-vote on election day and make their voices heard…", Byars will be joined by local sorority AKA's to assist in passing out the pizza and bottled water for voters in the Trotwood (Mother Brunner Catholic School (Formerly Precious Blood School) 4870 Denlinger Road from 4pm-6pm.
The AKA's (President, Mrs. Patricia Meadows), stated "…We are excited to serve the constituents of Trotwood and assist Keith Byars in this great effort to provide voter friendly refreshments, in support of a nonpartisan voting initiative"

Subject: Exercise your precious right tomorrow
Last week one of America's true heroes reminded me why voting is vitally important.
"I've marched, protested, been beaten and arrested – all for the right to vote," Congressman John Lewis wrote. "Friends of mine gave their lives. Honor their sacrifice. Vote."
Many of us still vividly recall that day in March 1965 when Congressman Lewis and other voting rights marchers crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma only to be attacked by baton-wielding Alabama state troopers and a sheriff's posse.
Lewis, his skull fractured, almost died that day.
We all know that justice eventually prevailed. But not without great sacrifice.
Today, voting rights are once again under assault. More than 6 million African Americans can't cast ballots at all because of Jim Crow-era laws that ban voting by those with felony convictions. Many others face barriers in states that have enacted discriminatory laws to suppress the votes of minorities.
We can do something. We can stand up.
The candidates have all had their say. Now it's our turn.
Please honor the sacrifices of heroes like John Lewis.
Exercise your precious right and go to the polls tomorrow. And if you've already voted, do more by helping someone else get to the polls. Remember that every vote counts.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do to help our country live up to its highest ideals

THIS:
Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, North Carolina ... according to polling aggregators, these are among the states that will decide the majority in the US Senate -- and, with it, whether or not we'll have a government and a Supreme Court that works, at even the most fundamental level!!!
Election Day polling places will begin to CLOSE in less than 28 hours from now!
We need to throw everything we have at winning these crucial Senate races until the very last voter votes.
Your donation right now to help win the White House AND THE SENATE will be triple matched!

We're on the air and on the ground in these states -- but we need YOUR help to drive home the historic victory our country needs.

I needed to make sure you saw Lizet's message (forwarded below), but I also wanted to add something.
For the better part of the past year, something I've been telling people is that the next president and control of the US Senate could all boil down to Latino voter turnout in Nevada. I was using Nevada as one example of a critical battleground state, but now it looks like the "Latino firewall" in Nevada, and perhaps a handful of other states, could in fact be what it all comes down to.
The presidency, control of the Senate, and the make-up of the Supreme Court for a generation could all depend on Latino turnout in just a few places.
Will you make a TRIPLE MATCHED donation to our efforts to get out the Latino vote in these crucial final days of the election?>>
Jon Ralston -- one of the most widely respected reporters on Nevada politics -- wrote yesterday, "Early voting kills Trump in NV," describing dramatic scenes of thousands of Latino voters waiting in line to vote on the last night of early voting in that state.
And the New York Times reports, "Early voting has surged among Hispanics in key swing states."
Seeing the MASSIVE increases in Latino early voting in states like Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, and Nevada has made me so proud of the tenacious work done by our Latinos Vote! campaign, but we still have a lot of work to do -- and a lot of voters to turn out -- before the polls close on Tuesday. Trump is a great motivator, but it's up to us to turn that disgust into votes -- including votes all the way down the ballot.
Trump still has a very real path to victory and now polling shows that key Senate races are slipping away from us.
As I write this, Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight polling-based projection even has the Republicans keeping the Senate for the first time in over a month! But it's on a knife's edge -- Dems 49.4% to Repubs 50.6% -- and keeps shifting back and forth.
We must win the White House AND the Senate, or we're going to be in trouble - especially with the Supreme Court on the line.
We have only 2 days left to do EVERYTHING we can to save America from Donald Trump several more years of Mitch McConnell's obstruction and gridlock.
Please take advantage of the triple match program now running and triple YOUR impact in these final days with an urgent donation right now>>
THANK YOU for everything. Now let's win this thing!
Liset's previous message:
------------------------------
It's become clear that Hillary Clinton's real "firewall" isn't any one swing state, it's the Latino vote in several of them.
That's a firewall that we have been working to build over the past several YEARS, and are continuing to build, with your help, all the way through Election Day.
All online donations through Election Day will be TRIPLE MATCHED!
Will you rush an urgent support donation to get out the Latino vote in all the close battleground states now?>>
University of Florida political scientist Daniel Smith says, "It very well could be the Hispanic vote that saves Hillary Clinton in Florida."
Smith, who tracks voting trends in Florida -- the largest swing state that pundits call a "must-win" for Trump -- calls Latino turnout this year "eye-popping."
Our Latinos Vote! campaign is running some combination of radio, TV, and digital ads as well as calls and events to get out the Latino vote in Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania and all of the most important states for the outcome of the presidency and which party controls the US Senate. I'm in Pennsylvania this weekend, and Arizona right after that, helping out our door-to-door canvassers on the ground in those states.
Please dig deep and give today … and give even a little more than you normally would … because THIS is the work that's going to decide the election.
And you don't want to wake up next Wednesday regretting that you didn't do all you could and wishing that you did more…
Please make an urgent TRIPLE MATCHED donation to help us get out the Latino vote NOW>>
Thanks for all you do,
