Subject: Our Women's Interfaith Discussion is Tuesday!

Blessings to each of you as we prepare to gather at St. Henry Catholic parish this Tuesday, March 14th from 11:00 to 1:00 pm. We look forward to our usual fellowship and interaction as we discuss “God’s Will in our Faith Traditions”.

If you haven't done so already, an RSVP for yourself and any guests is most appreciated. Let us know if you'd like to bring a vegetarian snack or dish to share, and please feel free to bring any brochures, flyers, or displays for events or activities of interest to our growing group.

DIRECTIONS TO ST. HENRY:  6696 Springboro Rd., Dayton, OH 45449: Perhaps the most direct route would be I-75 to the Miamisburg/Centerville exit, St. Rt. 725, toward the Dayton Mall.  Turn left on St. Rt. 741, toward Cox Arboretum.  St. Henry campus is on the right side of the road, approximately a mile and a ¼ down.
When you turn into the parking lot,  the church will be directly in front of you.  Drive to the left side of the church for access to parking.   You will see the building called “Father ‘Stretch’ Mirenfeld Parish Activity Center” across the parking lot, where we will begin our activities.

Subject: FW: Fish, Pizza and Ice Cream

What do fish, pizza and ice cream all have in common?   They all benefit the House of Bread, and our mission to prepare and serve a hot nutritious lunchtime meal to anyone in need 365 days a year.

During the month of March, Old Scratch Pizza, located at 812 South Patterson Boulevard, open Tuesday thru Sunday, serves up really good pizza.   During the month, they will donate all sales from ice cream cones to us - they call it Cones for a Cause.   On Tuesday, March 21, they are allowing us a takeover day and we will receive proceeds from sales that day only.

Then on Wednesday, March 22, we will host our annual Hunger Awareness Dinner from 6pm--8pm at the House of Bread.   We traditionally serve baked fish and rice for a donation of $10 per person.

So pizza on March 21, fish on March 22, and cones all month long.

And because we are the House of Bread, and serving our guests is our most critical mission, our guests will enjoy pizza on the 21st and fish on the 22nd!

Please follow us on facebook, or visit our website, www.houseofbread.org, for more information about the above events and our mission.

Lawsuit alleges infighting, ‘buffoonery’ caused WSU to lose debate

A consultant who originally helped Wright State University land the first 2016 presidential debate has filed a $1 million lawsuit against the college in Greene County Common Pleas Court.

RELATED: WSU lost $1.7 million on presidential debate it never hosted

John McCance, filed a lawsuit alleging that the Commission on Presidential Debates pulled the event from Wright State because of the “
incompetence of certain WSU staff, as well as the epic gross buffoonery and carnival type atmosphere on the main campus with all the infighting and lack of support and finger pointing.

McCance, who previously served as an adjunct faculty member, had been hired as a contract employee to serve as a liaison to the debate commission.

JOB PERKS: WSU bonus package revealed for new president

In the lawsuit, McCance accuses WSU officials of a
breach of contract for terminating his employment before his contract expired, wrongful termination and that WSU created a hostile work environment and inflicted emotional pain.

Wright State officials were not immediately available to comment on the lawsuit on Tuesday.
