The 5K Run/Walk raises awareness in the acute need for adult literacy and the Brunner Literacy Center's commitment to address this need.  In its short four-year existence, the Center has structured five programs to accommodate the wide levels of illiteracy among our clients.  These programs include:  SNA (Special-Needs Adults), ABE (Adult Basic Education), GED (General Equivalency Diploma), ESOL (English as a Second Other Language), and College Support.  These services are free to our clients. The one-on-one tutoring provided by our 150+ volunteers is essential, as is your support, to the success of our continued outreach to the community.
